Despite that it is a fascinating 2-D top-down game with randomly generated maps and tons of weirdness that make it kind of fascinating to me. It is called The Binding of Isaac, and the plot and theme are very twisted and grotesque.

Well finally I'm playing something rather than watching someone else play or playing it with our son. Depending on the game and how generous the demo is, that can be enough. or if he's easily amused just get him some demos to play, I suppose. I would point out that all Arcade games have a free demo. Most are E10+.Īlso there's some free games, you might as well get them I suppose: I won't bother mentioning anything M rated, but here are some Xbox Live Arcade games I have played that are good and may or may not be suitable. It's hard for me to say what to recommend since I don't know what you find suitable for him. I'm sure it's still fun, and you can play it split-screen on 360, so there's that. The 360 version is apparently behind on some of those features compared to PC. And actually, I keep thinking I will go back and check it out since they've added more things to it since I played. Good luck.I played Minecraft for approximately a zillion hours before getting tired of it. you wont be able to see the full window when you start but alt enter to run it in window mode then you will be able to see the menus, once you set it how you want and go back to non windows mode it will be fine. This is the same fix to run Mechwarrior 4 on an alienware as well. Set it to run in compatible mode and then select properties of your short cut so it shows the file name and leave a space at the end and add /gosnojoystick This will enable it to run on your alienware. I am running 64-bit Win7 Home premium on my new Alienware that runs MCG just fine. I'm hoping someone knows how to fix this, MC2 is one of my favorite games ever. I have tried using the compatibility modes, and deleting the badcard/vidcard files but I get the same result regardless. Whenever I try to run either program, the spalsh screen comes up on the desktop, the CD drive spins up, the usual black window appears and then the game crashes and never leaves the desktop. I think it is a problem with running either on Windows 7 b/c they worked fine on Win XP. I'm not sure if it is a problem with MCO or with MC2, but I have not been able to run either since I got my new machine. The FreeSpace Universe Reference Project.
